I loved the world-building aspect of this novel. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

Soleil Le Coeur lives in a world where part of the population, called Smudges, live and work in the dark night and the other part, known as Rays, live and work during the day. When she makes the choice to kidnap her niece so that her sick grandfather can meet her, everything falls apart. Plus One is a great book for teens who love a little romance and a lot of adventure. The beauty of the book is increased because of how the author addresses prejudice and liberty in a unconventional way.
