This book was (at least partially) based on me and people that I interacted with in Venice Beach between 2010-2012 or so. Unlike that protagonist in the book, however, i didn't get paid!! I did it just to keep them safe/because i luvs me sum crazy girls! :D

Anyway, the sad part of this book, is that it completely missed the true magic of what was happening to us in Venice/Santa Monica/Malibu back then. It was really the best time of my life (so far). A fantasy video game would do more justice to portray what really happened.

Homeless boy from Omaha, Nebraska (whoooo! Shout out!) migrates to California lives there homeless. He starts to help people to find missing people. Good narrative. When I got done with book kinda went "hummm". Its a book that makes you meditate on your life and where its going. I enjoyed it and think boys would get into it too.
