An eye-opening exposé of a ubiquitous company that relies on mass advertising to increase its sales. This book documents the adverse health effects of over-consumption of this sugar-laden soft drink and the side-effects of Coca Cola's operations on groundwater depletion, local environmental contamination, union-busting, and vending machine sales in schools. The author aggregates information from earlier sources as shown by the lengthy endnotes and bibliography. A glossary of acronyms would have been a helpful addition.
