Well-written good character development and conversations. Be aware that supernatural events and spirits? are woven into the plot which I was caught off guard by as I selected this just as the library was closing and just glanced at the cover. Good action with lots of depth you will not be disappointed. I planning to read the follow-up book that also contains the main character.

Also, enjoyed the numerous references to So Cal and San Diego & TJ.
