Slightly interesting, but found it written in sort of an immature manner, like romance novels. I would have liked to know for instance, the basis of the estrangement of the father's family, and the source or sources of the funding for these surgeries, which surely were out of reach for your average middleclass family. Were they incredibly rich--with their BMW's Lincoln Town Car and frequent flights everywhere, or were the funds & surgeries donated?

I enjoyed reading this book. I had heard of leg lengthening surgeries before, but had no idea what it entailed. This is a great story of a brave girl who beat the odds and did what others said couldn't be done.

Like listening to elderly people talk about their health problems. Gross. Too bad about the friend though.
