I actually picked this up at a Little Free Library, since I don't use e-books. But I found this to be an enjoyable romp therough the genre of thriller. You have the hapless hero, who is out of depth in a bizarre plot. You have the spies and terrorists, and the greedy mercenaries. It is a farcical tale of plot twist and plot twists. The hero gradually proves his mettle as the story moves on. Westlake is a master at plot twists you don't expect, but still retains credibility. If I can find any Westlake works in book form, I will give them a read.
