A book is good when you can laugh out loud or cry at different parts. A book is great when you scream the word "seventy" in the middle of reading a section. The adventure was fast and fun, and I'm sorry to see it end. The characters become people who you care for like family. Catanese's story of a young boy filled with emotion for his friends comes to a raw conclusion with the main character severing the ties to fulfill his destiny. Time seemed limitless in this story and the reader is caught up on a wave to the future.

Yeeeaaaah..... The ending was a bit of a let down. Very disappointed. But over all, a good book. At first I thought Lord Umber was Hap's dad or something. It was cruel and unusual that Hap couldn't have feelings for anyone. If he could, he should have gone with Sophie. Sable, well.... She's ok. I just don't think she's his type.

It wasn't a bad book overall, I just really didn't like the ending (at all!) I thought it was not only anticlimactic, it was too bad for Hap and didn't seem as though it fit his character. Plus, if he wants to know what the end of time looks like, I could tell him. I believe relationships make you stronger, not ruin your potential. That was what the message seemed to be. Oh well, still a good fantasy, but the ending could definitely have been better. Still, I wanted Hap and Sophie to end up together. Sable was annoying.

This is the last book of the trilogy. Each book told a good story and then the overall arc story was very good too. I liked the way the book finished. I supposed the writer could have written another book to cover what happened, but I liked the fact that the story stayed in the fantasy world he had created. I would recommend this book to anyone, but I would suggest you start with the first one which is called Happenstance Found.
