I agree that this entire series would make for good cinema. Saga is wonderfully engaging, if you can get through the first chapter of what I felt was excessive detail of air boarding, especially coming directly from finishing Epic, although it could perhaps be argued that the author was just setting the scene. Once past that however, the storyline picked up interest pretty quickly, and in general Kostick's writing style is fluid and interesting.

Video gamer Erik isn?t quite sure what to make of Saga, an addicting virtual-reality world that feels all too real when the game?s Dark Queen tries to enslave those inside. Philosophical questions of ?realness? coupled with suspenseful action create a doubly satisfying science fiction adventure.

It's not as epic as Epic, but still worth reading. Some parts went too slow (those were the parts that I had to force myself to read), but it's worth the wait to see how it all turned out.

They need to make a movie out of this book... If done correctly it could be great.

While not as good as Epic, Saga is still an excellent read. It may not be Asimov, but I'd still recommend it to young (12+) sci-fi fans.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: My 10 year old was freaked out by the chapters describing the Dark Queen.
