After looking forward to reading this book, I was somewhat disappointed. The premise for the story is interesting (the loss of Dickenses' last but uncompleted novel) and the search which sends the hero to London. I found, however, that the storyline was hard to follow, probably because the various characters aren't developed enough and seem to appear out nowhere.

Enjoyed the book - a good depiction of the social climate of the time and an interesting take on the unfinished last novel of Dickens.
