Plot: This book deals with Zack, a psychiatrist, and his lover-artist, Daniel. Also, Daniel's love for Abbas who is his neighborly neighbor. The natural rise and fall of passion of the psych-artist's relationship hold underlying stresses that pushes Daniel to do something in hopes to recreate feelings he had once felt. Both Zack and Daniel struggle all throughout the book--testing their trust--eventually, and roughly learning how to be with each other. Never truly comfortable with each other.

Opinion: I love Zack. He gives so much and receives so little and expects nothing in the end.
The characters are deeply flawed (even Zack) and it broke my heart to read what they had to go through.
Realistic, hurtful, and touching...Christopher Bram captures what it means to live a life.
