If you have ever been at all curious about the leaning Tower of Pisa, then Nicholas Shrady's informative and enlightening book "Tilt" will certainly give you a full history of this fascinatingly askew structure that (to this very day) defies the laws of gravity.

With its construction initially beginning way back in 1173, it took nearly 200 years before the Tower of Pisa finally reached its full completion.

Barely escaping total destruction during WW2 - This defiant, cylindrical tower was considered (in its days of glory) a symbol of great power and wealth. And it has long since intrigued many people, the world over, as it continues to stand tall and unyielding like a mute witness to a very impressive and colourful history.
