Film noir fun. Bogart & Scott have a field day with this flick.

Good, but not great. Bogart very capable as the paratrooper/investigator. Lizabeth Scott looks like a blonde Bacall and plays well off of Bogie. She gives a very good performance to make the ending believable. The action flows and the story has a nice twist ending. Entertaining movie.

Humphrey Bogart is my favorite actor but even with that, this is a slow mover. Something interesting about Scott but her acting talents are limited. Carnovsky was good and Marvin Miller especially ominous. All in all, a disappointment. 2 and a half stars.
