This doesn't feature all of the cool construction trucks or semi-trucks that children who like trucks often see on the highway. But it does give children who like trucks a chance to COUNT them. These are five completely different trucks that would be seen at the airport. As the pages go by, we get to read about small trucks, big trucks, long and short trucks, and trucks that go up and down. Then we learn what each of these five trucks do at the airport, finally to learn all about a very nice airplane that is about to take off. It's a great book for fans of trucks and airplanes, and a good book for counting trucks and working with concepts like opposites. Happy Reading!

One of my favorite story time books. Nice teamwork and a bit of "suspense" - the adults probably know where the trucks all work, but do the kids? Usually not until the last page.
