Great acting, but a very stupid story line. Man can't love his kids or grandkids, yet is a soulmate to a stranger on a bus. He continually tries to kill himself, until he does...must be a true story for the writer, only thing that makes…

We enjoyed it. It provokes some thoughts.

Some of the plot points seemed to come from absolutely nowhere but I do love Clemence Poesy and Michael Caine so it was definitely worth watching.

Another one we had never heard of but that was unexpectedly good. Much more complicated than the romantic comedy you think it is going to be. Agree with the comment below about Michael Caine and his American accent. It just seemed…

Rated 7/10. Overall, quite a decent movie. Michael Caine's performance stands out, with the exception of the "American accent". I don't know why he had to be cast as an American. Otherwise, good. Worth your while to watch.

Good performances, but couldn't abide Michael Caine's attempt at an American accent. I liked the idea of a non-intimate friendship between the two leads, but Caine's son actor was miscast imho.

I really liked this movie. I loved the connection between Matthew and Pauline. Especially enjoyed Matthew joining in the dance class. There is a lesson in the relationship between father and children. Childhood resentments carried…

watch it for Michael Cain. He is wonderful. Makes the character of Matthew so real. Otherwise, it's kind of a so-so film ( although Gillian Anderson isa hoot!). Sorry is a bit unbelievable.

One of the best movies I have seen in a long time... extremely poignant love story. I didn't want the movie to end.

A touching story, with good acting by Michael Caine and the rest of the cast. Sad ending.

Looks promising, but rather unsatisfying in the end.
